Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Not sure of value but from what I have been told the Custom Classic I believe is what they call the series I which has again I believe the series 70 firing system which is supposed to be better than the series 80 which is the Custom II. If you go into some of the gun stores they will let you look up the book value or you can go onto guns america or gun broker to get an idea. I know this is not a whole lot of help and if there are any 1911 experts sorry if I screwed things up or got it wrong and feel free to correct me.
If the weapon is origional and in good condition it is likely worth a lot more than a new one. 800.00 for new base model and currently in short supply.
I would love to own an Oregon made Kimber, too cool.
And yes, the Custom Classic type1, has no firing pin block.
If you EVER want to sell it please!!!!!!!!!, send me a PM.
If our Supporting Vendors don't have what you're looking for, use these links before making a purchase and we will receive a small percentage of the sale
