Brass case, Berdan primed, fmj
Treat it as corrosive just in case... I shot 8-900 rounds of this stuff way back when I had my VZ24, it was good stuff and that was back before I was aware of corrosive ammo..... never had a problem. BUT who knows, maybe it varied between lots, etc. These look to mostly be late 40s headstamps, I previously shot late 1930s stuff..... So, to be safe, I will say this is corrosive....
(Flush with water after shooting, before normal cleaning... also try spraying windex in the action/bore after shooting, Im told the ammonia neutralizes the corrosive salts.. I have done this with this and other corrosive ammo and even my black powder stuff and it works)
I recall having to hit them twice sometimes... but it always fired.
