At least Obama is not as eager as I thought to reinstate the assault weapons ban, but I will not allow my guard to go down.

The investment angle could backfire on people if a new ban grandfathers ownership but prevents any future sale or transfers of the guns. I remember before the ban expired that some delalers were either not believing it would be allowed to expire or not wanting it to, because it would decrease the value of their stock. Personally, I just want to shoot my AR15 and be left alone.
