Old guy in Redmond, WA who hadn't done much shooting since my Marine Corps days many decades ago, who decided to get back on the horse. After MUCH research I decided I liked the CZ Shadow 2. Wade's near me had it in their rental inventory so I actually had a chance to try it before spending gobs of money on it. Liked the gun, loved the trigger, spent the money at West Coast Armory; great folks to deal with BTW. I also joined Bellevue Gun Club at that facility. The range staff guys are top notch - friendly, helpful and soon know who you are.
Okay, now a glitch in my shooting world: a good friend who owned several pieces decided to get out of it and started offering stuff around. The one that came my way is a High Standard Citation 107, 7 1/4" barrel, that he bought new in '71. Talk about sweet triggers - this is the OG. The glitch? I went shooting today and intentionally left my CZ at home. I guess the 9 is just more caliber than I want in my 80s, that .22s are more my current speed….and more FUN. I also know I want to get a couple more .22s, with a Buck Mark and a MK IV at the top of my list, once I figure out what to do with the CZ.
That's my intro - cheers!
