Striker drag with factory ammo but not reloads?

Did a bunch of shooting yesterday and noticed that the factory American Eagle 165gr casings exhibited slight striker drag, but my hotter reloads did not.

Apparently my reloads are cycling the slide at the proper velocity to avoid striker drag?
