Hey all. I just snagged this little shottie from a semi-local store.
It looks right. The only thing that doesn't seem to fit is the stock... it's obviously cut and inletted for the gun... but when I say fit, I meant color. I read the stocks were Walnut. This is a lighter, more blonde wood... something like Beech perhaps. Anyone know if Stevens or Savage ever used anything but Walnut on their older model shotguns?

The other thing I don't know is the chamber size. I picked up 2 3/4" shells and they chamber fine. Anyone know if this was a 3" chamber?
