1947 Marlin 39a, excellent condition, great shooter. (big surprise!)

Excellent bore, smooth action, gunsmith mounted Lyman 66c with ivory Lyman front bead.

Not much else to say, great example of one of the best ever!

Rather not separate rifle and sight, it's a perfect package.

Just looking to get my $$ out of it.

Thanks, it sold. It is a wonderful rifle, took me a year to find it and the correct sight.

I walked away from it twice in a small town pawn shop over several months, they finally said ok at $500. I did ok on that part, but the sight prices are brutal for a clean 66mc. This one was 250, than 50 for the gunsmith to mount that and the new bead. There's the $800. Iron85 did ok on this one too.

I bought it to keep, but I'm in the middle of a remodel, you know the rest of that story! There's always another rifle!
