Don't be afraid to sell nationally either. Long guns can be shipped USPS. You have to ship to an FFL though. Make the buyer send the FFL's paperwork with the payment, USPS MO only.

I just shipped a Marlin 1895 with $400 insurance and it was just over $30 if that helps guesstimate what it would cost to ship your gun.
