What conversion kit do you have because a standard SKS has a fixed mag. I've never handled a converted sks that wasn't a fiddly POS.

Well i just droped out the factoryten round mag put in 30 is there a conversion kit to except the duck bill mags

It's not the rifle. Is a mag issue. Put the 10 back in and learn how to use stripper clips

Went down that road years and years ago with a yugo sks, as others here have said you'll have more fun and less trouble using stripper clips.

Yup, only ones that ever ran ok were Tapco 20 rounders, gun was never designed to have removable mags, hence all the issues.
