Sig Sauer P239 Semi Auto Pistol - Item# 305368
But good luck finding mags to go with it. Or parts. Sig doesn't supply anything for it any more.
Yep. I’m sure that’s why they’re clearancing them out. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s a great pistol at a great price. Comes with two mags and I’m sure if you were to keep an eye out on some of the Sig forums you’ll find some eventually. But you will obviously be paying a premium. As far as parts, that again is true. I’d think that in most cases you could expect to get years of reliable service out of a Sig.
Can't argue with that. It is a nice piece, if not a little snappy in .40.
Sig actually started making the mags again. They don't advertise it, but I've bought 10 over the last several months. Lots of standard P series parts are in these. The few that aren't are not things that normally wear out. I've sent mine in for some things I would have expected Sig not to have and they said they have everything. FWIW
People still buy 40’s? Lol
Everything is relative, and everybody has their own opinions. My Sig 239 in .40 is a powder puff.
In spite of the internet experts, the .40 is an excellent cartridge. The 10mm hurts girly hands, so the .40 was the answer. Now, the .40 apparently hurts girly hands, and the 9mm is now the answer, and has been promoted to elephant gun status.
40 is a fine cartridge, but resale of one is as impossible as winning powerball. Ha ha
That is a fact. Definite drawback for it.
