Is this a New Vaquero platform or old?

I did a quick google search and according to the A.I. Overview "The standard Ruger New Model Blackhawk is built on the large frame, which is the same size as the "old" (original) Vaquero."
The Flattop Ruger Blackhawk (this one in particular) has the Micro rear sight and is considered the ".357" or "Medium" frame.

The standard frame now, post 1973, is considered the "New Blackhawk" or ".44" or "Large frame". The frame size changed along with adding a transfer bar safety and different rear sight, mainly. (I believe the front sight on this one is not factory. Typically interchangeable and a standard black blade is standard).

This is a special run that Lipsey's does with Ruger every so often. It has the transfer bar safety, .357 size frame, flattop with Micro rear sight and chambered in both .45 ACP and .45 Colt.

If it were a Bisley frame I would have been on this thing like a fat kid to cake.

Brian Pearce on the Pearce Brothers YouTube channel does a much better job of explaining than I do.
