Ruger LCR sight with XS Dot Tritium or paint?

Hey NWF, looking at a Ruger LCR for CC but without the Crimson laser sight.

I was wondering if there are opinions on painting the top of the pinned ramp sight neon orange to enhance the sighting as a cheap alternative?

Also, I've never tried anything with a tritium sight before; on a handgun of this size would it make a considerable difference to be worth adding it? Thanks!

Looks like painting the sight is not as novel as I thought! <broken link removed> model paint is supposed to hold up well under wear.

I just installed the xs sight on my LCR a few weeks ago. IMO, big improvement in al light conditions. I did use some white auto touch up paint on the stock sight when I got it but it wasn't very durable.
