I've had a couple people ask if it has been converted...as far as I know it hasn't. It still has the standard OM hammer as seen in the attached photo so I'm assuming it has not. If anyone knows how I could tell for sure, I'd appreciate it.

If you look where the hammer would contact the firing pin, is there a plate/bar that comes up vertically as you depress the trigger?

If no, it hasn't been converted.

Collectors say it is a higher value. Me, I don't care either way.

Thanks for the info. I just looked and I'm not seeing a plate/bar that you described. I guess it's unconverted then? and just for clarification, would say it is more or less desirable unconverted?

Yes, collectors prefer the original 3 screws unconverted.

These should be carried with the hammer on an empty chamber, to be safe.
