I have read both We were Soldiers and the sequel We are soldiers still.
Gen . Moore and all the men in those books are a class act and worthy of the upmost respect.
Sad to see that he and many others who were there are gone....

He was a Post Commander of mine at one time. I had no idea of his notoriety until the movie came out some years later.
