This is a nice looking Model 12 A rifle. However, it has functionality issues. It does not feed properly. A gunsmith assessed the problem as needing a "action bar" ($47.75 @ Numrich Arms) The bore is rough which causes extraction problems. The sight adjuster blade is missing and the rifle has been re-blued and the stock refinished. Consequently it isn't a collector but I acquired it to make it a shooter but the repair cost added up to too much. This would be a perfect gun for the tinkerer out there who could restore it to working order and have a shooter that has the grace and lines of a beautiful old rifle. The other option is to make it a parts gun.
