For sale here is an 1864 Springfield rifle musket type 2 in overall excellent condition. The stock is in great shape with no cracks or damage and the metal having a mottled patina. A replacement barrel by Whitacre being present. Rifle has a brand new nipple as well.
Whitacre barrels are historically correct reproductions of the progressively depth rifled bore found on orginal barrels.
The bore is in excellent shape. A new front site adjustable for windage has been added as well.
This rifle was built her accuracy and Sports a full length glass bedded stock.
Will trade for antique firearms such as Trapdoors, Rolling blocks, Austrian Werndl, or other military black powder firearms. For the right trade I have several pounds of powder to include as well as a mold
