This is for a collector.
Forehand & Wadsworth Pocket model. Rare, 3 inch barrel, Double action, six shot, 32 S&W, break-top, auto eject. All Nickle. Original Hard rubber grips clearly marked with the classic F&W symbols. Extremely nice quality! Cylinder, top break clip and frame have matching numbers.
There are no other engravings or marks other than a serial number on the heel and match part number on different parts. No manufacturing name or patient stamp.
Forehand & Wadsworth stopped manufacturing in 1890 when Wadsworth died. Forehand continued as Forehand Firearms.
The spring to retract the firing pin needs to be replaced as well as the spring under the top break clip.
Parts are still listed as available since the patient was passed to Hopkins & Allen.
The bore is very good.
Offered as a collectible- don't shoot modern ammunition unless your gunsmith says it is safe to do so. Spent shells eject automatically when the action is opened.
This is a designated Curio by ATF.
$195
Willing to entertain a trade for modern revolver or semi-auto pistol
