Well after waiting for a couple of weeks, it's finally arrived. I picked this up from BiMart this morning. Man, this is a lot of fun for $359.99.
I brought it home and promptly cleaned it. There was so much oil in it from the factory that I even had to disassemble the magazine. When I held the mag upside down, the oil just dripped out of it.

It has a rail and some checkering on the front strap.

This gun is so tight. I had to use a wrench to remove the barrel bushing. The grip safety requires a fair amount of pressure to activate it. I doubt my wife would be able to.

The trigger is pretty good. It is a little heavy, but it's crisp.

The fit and finish is really nice. The gun is Cerakoted. IMG_2697.jpeg

I was originally going to just get an RIA GI for $299.00. I am glad that I ponied up a little extra for this one. Here it is with its other budget brother. I still have yet to fire these. IMG_2696.jpeg

I'm amazed that you can get a new 1911 for that cost! I paid $900 for a used Sig nightmare fastback and even the the Caspian arms 1911 receiver I ordered ( bare bones ) cost $425

Both of the 45's I have pictured have yet to be shot. It should happen soon though. The Girsan is the least expensive center fire gun that I have, followed by the Kimber.

It's amazing how much fun one can get for a small amount of money these days.
