Newb from Portland

Hello Everyone, I'm Mark from NW Portland. I'm still fairly new to the PNW if you don't count my 4 year stint in College almost 2 decades ago. My wife and I moved to Portland from Southern California back in 2021 and really love it up here. We both really enjoy the outdoors and all the green. I've never been a huge gun nut but used to go Skeet/Trap shooting with friends back in SoCal. I recently got into Firearms and will be joining one or more of the local ranges. I'm also into cars (my poor wallet) but have really been enjoying guns as a new hobby. Hope to meet some cool people here and be part of the community.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

Check out the organized clean ups. It's the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly.

We are doing non ODF supported cleanups at public forests - check the North Fork Wolf Creek Road thread in resources.

If you really want to get involved in community action check out Trash No Land.
