Just wanted to introduce myself, been in the NW for the last 16.5 years. Spent some time in the Greatest Canoe Club, Qualified Pistol Marksman, Held the fastest moving range time with an M16 in 1990 as Aux Security Force in Kings Bay, Ga.
I'm back into active firearm training, as I have kids that need to learn how to be comfortable around all weapons. All three of my kids have completed Martial Arts Weapons training, so it's time to teach them firearms.
Looking to build my first AR, so any best practices, good places to buy, places to avoid... that sort of stuff would be helpful.
Heard about the forum from a buddy of mine at work. Been lurking for a while, figured it's time to become more active.
Any Bubbleheads in the Portland Area, PM me, I'd like to get involved with the Blueback Base, just haven't had time.
