Well its new to me! Its a Boyar Schultz from about 1950. Even though its old, this thing is as smooth as it was when it was new!

What is it? It's a surface grinder! what's that for? well you see the nice finish on 1911 frames, and slides, S&W hammers, trigger, etc etc.....this machine is the grinder puts the super nice ground finish on all things metal!
Oh and it runs so smooth!

It's also what puts 'correct' lightening cuts in milled AK-47 receivers. Unfortunately, since most mfg'ers who are CNC'ing milled AK-47 receivers doesn't care about authenticity, they just mill out the lightening cut, and it looks totally wrong. The only way to get that 'scooped out' look is to use a surface grinder.

Wish I had one. Good find!
