Positive .... Its marked 590-A1 on the reciever and the barrel is Extra Heavy Duty and it has a .Steel Trigger Guard and Steel Safety not plastic .

Meant no offense. Just never seen an "A1" that didn't have a 20" barrel and 8-shot tube.

No worries .... there are people that dont know the history on the A1 and they think all 590s are the same

I know all 590s aren't the same.

Have seen in many configs. Just never seen the 590-A1 in this config.

We took these shorter 590-A1s with pistol grips to Afghanistan with us in 2006 as breachers though we never did any breaching. They were used for warning shots with flare rounds and got quite banged around the turrets of the humvees. Never had an issue with them despite the dust and abuse.
