I am looking to sell my original 1870 Springfield Trapdoor rifle. It was built using surplus M1863 musket parts withe exception of the receiver and barrel which were made specifically for this model. There is an old repair in stock where it had started to crack but is more than solid in its current state. It has some fouling in the bore which is to be expected as this is a black powder weapon but is overall solid and I have personally shot this weapon several times with new made ammunition. This one is chambered in the original .50-70 caliber. Firearm is considered antique given its age and caliber so no FFL required. Can meet up locally within the Seattle area and somewhat beyond for sale and pick up.
