Hey there, just a point of correction. The RPK-47 marking on a the receiver is a bit of a misnomer. The AK-47 and RPK-47 marked receivers were used interchangeably between the regular and heavy barrel versions. An interesting factory error if you will. Only the heavy barrel is an actual RPK when looking at the import numbers. So this preban is 1 of 1000 7.62 x 39 M 70 Standard Models that we imported. A nice rifle all the same, good luck with the sale.

No, this is not the M70 this is a the original RPK that has 160 or the 7.62x39.
I've had this appraised and to multiple gun collectors.
I just want an STI

I am very aware of the import numbers and I see you glossed over my comment on the RPK-47 marking on the receiver. They were all marked AK-47 or RPK-47 regardless of the caliber or style. RPK-47 marked receivers have the scope rail and AK-47 marked receivers do not.

Here is a link to exactly what I mean and what you are selling. This receiver is marked RPK-47, the box is marked AK-47 and is checked as a full wood stock model, not an RPK.

Here is what you think you have. This receiver is marked RPK-47, the box is marked AK-47 and is checked as a heavy barrel RPK model. This is 1 of 160.

You have a 1 of 1000 full wood stock model not a 1 of 160 heavy barrel RPK model. I own the same exact one. I do not know a single actual Mitchell collector that would disagree with what I have shared. I'm just providing the correct information so everyone is informed.

And again, mine is the RPK it's not part the 1000 bud, I've done my research and so has the gun smiths and historians.
It would be more mature to send me PM with all this info and not waste space on my ad.

It doesn't appear that would have been beneficial at all given your unwillingness to accept what is common knowledge in the Yugo AK world. At least now someone can look at the evidence and decide for themselves. I am a long time Mitchell collector and well versed in these rifles. My only aim was to correct some misinformation. You have been trying to sell this for a year, plenty of space to go around. It seems the picture of the chunk missing out of the grip hasn't made it into subsequent ads. Good luck with the sale.
