I have a Marlin 45-70 decent shape some light pitting on the receiver where it has been sitting in a safe since my house got destroyed.
I bought it new 6 years ago. Have around 50 rounds through her. Don't have original box and the front sight hood is missing.
No ammo, No trades.

Barrel length measure out to 21 inch's. Not sure how to check for JM stamping. I dont see it. The picture of the receiver shows the only pitting on the rifle.

Looks like a Remington made Marlin...
