Looking for a hard chromer

Ok, so I had several pistols Cerakoted by Jeremy @ Lucky Sports. And I couldn't be more happier. But now I'm looking for someone in the PDX area that can weld up 2 tangs on two other 1911's. After I fit two new grip safeties I need to find a hard chromer in the area that can rechrome the two frames. I think this last part is almost impossible in the PDX area. I hope I'm wrong.

Did you look up Robar?
It used to be popular to put a hard chrome or satin nickle finish on HK P7 PSPs. Their phosphate demanded an oil finish or they would rust before your very eyes.
I'll bet it's hard to find a chrome shop that has a FFL. Nasty chemistry.

Well I finally got around to call them. Spoke to Roger. All though firearms isn't his main business he does them as a hobbie
I had them do some work for me many years ago when they were at a different location and went by the name of Surgichrome ( sp ? )
