Long Range .243 Win Rem 700 Package w/Schmidt Bender, McRees Precision, Bartlein, GA Precision, and MORE

Up for sale is an outstanding long-range rife build. I bought this rifle several years ago as a .308 from my B.I.L. who is a very accomplished long range hunter/competitor. He's a GA Precision VIP customer now! Here's more details:

Built on a Remington 700 short action, it was originally a 700 VTR (the one with the triangular barrel) chambered in .308. The action was blueprinted and trued by GA Precision. They added an extended bolt handle.
Jewell trigger with safety and bolt release. Currently set at around 15 oz. Adjustable for pull weight, overtravel, and sear engagement. This trigger is amazing.
GA Precision/Bartlein 26" threaded barrel with compensator. Less than 300 rounds. I believe this to be a Remington Varmint or Sendero profile. I don't know the twist rate, but it shoots the 115 DTAC very well so it's likely 1-7.5 inches. I acquired this barrel from same B.I.L. who sold me the rifle. The barrel was installed by the late, great Tim Copeland, Copeland Custom Gunworks.
McRees Precision G5 folding chassis. This is an aluminum chassis with adjustable cheek rest and LOP. Rubberized pistol grip with recoil pad. A very durable system and absolutely zero play when in the locked position.
Schmidt Bender Klassik 4 - 16 X 50 FFP with the P3 mildot reticle. Side-focus parralax. Mounted on a MOA rail with Alpha rail mounts.
(1) Accuracy International AICS 5-round magazine.

All cerakoted with the exception of the receiver. All is in very good condition, with only a few light scuffs and scratches as you can see from the photos.

I have some mixed feelings about selling this, but it has spent way too much time in the back of the safe. It deserves precision hand loads. I intended to jump into hand loading but just never got there.

I also have 550+ rounds of .243 Lapua brass, about half of it unfired, about half of it fired once. I will post an ad for this in the Reloading Supplies section, but could package the brass with the rifle for the right deal.
