Rob at KeepVa2A.com is on fire. The turnout at the last minute "secret" 2 p.m. Prince William County Board of Supervisor meeting brought in patriots from across VA to push back against Bloomberg puppet Chairman Anne Wheeler's sneaky attempt to unravel previous 2A sanctuary gains and ramrod anti-gun resolutions through. Thankfully, KeepVa2A were on to her and nearly 5 hours of public comments from pizzed off patriots ensued, making their voices heard, the overwhelming majority pro-gun, pro-2A.
Consider making a donation on their website, it's a shoe-string budget but they're gaining heavy traction and getting the word out, gathering very large numbers of patriots to fight back and ensure their voices are heard loud and clear. This is Anne.
Anne B. Wheeler.
Anne is the new Chairman (don't assume) of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors, and Anne is immoral.
She swore an oath to uphold the constitution yesterday, and her very first act was to try and break that oath by sneaking in a resolution begging for gun control.
She got it... that little bit of power. That little bit of control. It's all she needed.
So smart; she would just sneak in her anti-2A resolution on a snowy afternoon while everyone was at work. Nobody knew what the resolution said. Nobody would be around for public comment. She would be a hero on the Left for sneaking in a gun control resolution after those silly rednecks thought they passed a 2A Sanctuary Resolution.
Then she met the 2A Movement
Here's how it went down
I got a call from a friend at a gun show who was talking with someone who had some insider information on Prince William County on Sunday.
"They're trying to pass a new resolution supporting gun control. The comment period was moved to 2:00pm this Tuesday!"
I looked at the PWC website. Sure enough, the resolution was on the agenda for 2:00 Tuesday. I immediately started writing a post explaining what was going on. Shared it on Facebook. Shortly after the post started going viral.
The word had spread
40,000 users on KeepVa2a.
250,000+ impressions on Facebook.
People now knew and they are pissed!
Anne's first day on the job is about to be a very bad one.
Hundreds pour in
The main meeting room was backed. Even the overflow and balcony (pictured below) was standing room only.
Over 130 speakers giving strong testimony and reasoning AGAINST Wheeler's Resolution.
It took almost 5 hours to hear all the comments, and that's AFTER Wheeler changed the rules to only give citizens 2 minutes instead of the normal 3 minutes, because she didn't want to listen to what they had to say.
You're a terrible person, Anne.
The VOTE
The 7:30pm session rolled around, closed to public comment as expected.
The board deliberated.
Wheeler wouldn't get her way; not today. The board agreed to delay the vote until January 21st, at 7:30PM where the session will be open to public comment like this one should have been. No more sneaking around the shadows, Anne.
The 2A Movement Won the Night
If we hadn't shown up in force, the Democratic controlled board would have passed the resolution.
It would have read, "NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Prince William Board of County Supervisors urges the members of the Virginia General Assembly to address gun violence prevention in Virginia by passing gun safety legislation..."
Instead Wheelers Resolution sits and waits for the People of Prince William County to show up in full force and demand its final defeat.
Today's battle is won. The war has just begun.
