I'm years late to be of any help. I parted out a 1985 LTD (the Fox body version) WSP sedan that had the 5.0 L engine. It had throttle body injection, might've been good for this project.

I had a couple of AOD transmissions, including the one out of the WSP car, my idea was to convert a couple of my cars that had C4's in them but I never got around to doing it. Economy was my interest, rather than performance.
