Hi folks!

Been lurking a while, figured it was time to sign up. I'm starting to research and shop for a carry replacement for when we're out camping and riding in the woods.

Last firearm purchase was my XDS 3.3" 9mm about 13 years ago. Currently leaning towards a Springfield Hellcat or maybe an S&W M&P 2.0.

Cheers,
D.

Welcome from r we gone . ;) Glad you're here . Feel free to share . There is much to see , learn and share here . With a lot of humor thrown in too . Enjoy the forum and all it has to offer . Blessings from our bunker to you & yours . :)

Thanks all for the warm reception!

Today I got to run several clips through each of the following: a couple Glock 19s, 43X, a couple Sigs but the 365 I liked the most, Hellcat Pro, and a couple others I'm failing to recall.

Thankfully a close friend was able to help train and correct an overabundance of poor shooting posture issues. Lots to learn and improve upon there. But it ultimately helped me make the distinction between each of the pistols.

Gee whiz it's gonna be hard to choose just one. 😁

Welcome. Head over to your local indoor range and trest a few out. You have more optons than you think. I have the XD (.45acp) and S&W (9mm) and like them both, but love my Glocks!

I carried the G19 until I shot the P365. I now carry the 365 and have a couple Icarus-gripped 365s as well. The Hellcat is also a good shooter.

Getting the basics (posture, grip, etc) will definitly be the shortest path to the easy improvements.
