Hi-Point .40 or .45

Hi! I am looking to get a Hi-Point .40 or a .45. Yes, a good Glock or a Beretta would do wonderfully, but you all know how the budget works! If you aint got it, you aint gettin' it! LOL. Anywho, As I have little money, but wish to get a pistol for home defense, plinking, and for general pistol practice, as well as a "gun to get me back to my long guns!", I am looking for a Hi-Point, or a semi-auto pistol in the same price range.
