If you're asking me to choose….

1911, I prefer the natural indexing over Glock much more. Having carried a Glock for many years I still don't "like" them. Perfectly reliable, just not my preference.

Def 9mm for my carry and preferred caliber. Pen and velocity is acceptable, capacity is good most times.

For in the house I still prefer my carry. I train often and am comfortable with it. I would also prefer to not blast my ear drums toooo bad, chances are good I wouldn't have time to grab ears.
