I needed something similar to the part you need and they fixed me up with a flat spring from an old grandfather clock.
I shaped it very carefully and it worked as needed.
 
Well no I need the center pin retainer spring. It is like a very small v. At .020 thick, .065 wide, and roughly .320 long legs and 30-35 degree v.
I may try to make my own out of a feeler guage via annealing and tempering. Worth a shot anyway.
