Genuine Colt military upper made in the 1960's. Painted black with green accents. This upper came from Annapolis. Don't know anything else about it. However the main Naval base/academy is in Annapolis and makes it very interesting. I read that black paint was common on overseas use as it protected against the elements. Being that this is mid to late 60's and a Colt leads me to believe that it was overseas potentially in Vietnam. It is well used with solid Colt markings on right side. I didn't take down any other finish but it could easily be done or just leave as is. These uppers are increasingly rare and most genuine ones have forge codes however this one doesn't making it 1960's and more desirable. Also to note that it has the counter drilled (rebate) on left side of front lug making it again genuine 1960's. This upper can only increase in rarity and value as the remakes flood the market, as well people will eventually want original over remake in the future.
Comes with original era charging handle and aftermarket BCG.
