Since braces are back in favor, I have the brace on... if things change OR if you would be more comfortable with a basic pistol tube... Ill install the pistol tube before we meet up for transfer. If youre not sure.... ill give you the brace and the pistol tube, let me know which you prefer to have installed when we meet up.

Just curious....I'd love to hear your story on the legality of the brace.

My FFL guy says that he won't xfer that if it's not registered as an SBR due to the brace style.

As I understand it, the brace rule was struck down.

If its easier for you, I can put a plain pistol tube back on it

Love to have a link to any info supporting that as my guy told me the opposite. I removed the brace from my .223 I built

Anything can happen of course.

I can put the pistol tube on to transfer it and give you the brace separately.
Then you can put it on or take it off later if the law goes differently in court later

The pistol brace is fine on there. If the FFL won't do the transfer, he should brush up on the ruling. Just an FYI
