Of corse Laupa, but I load any and all brass. The Berdan primed Middle Eastern stuff is great, but harder to find, M47?

I even find Winchester to work fine. The bullet is just as important as the brass, maybe more so.

Belom made in Croatia. Brass cased and boxer primed. So far I have three round of reloads on my brass. I don't think I'll get much more as the extractor tears it up pretty good.

I would stay away from Norma brass for 7.62x39 It is out of spec and will not size correctly. Belom is great, probably the best in my opinion. I remember a while back Paul Harrel did some testing on different 7.62x39 rounds. The Norma was horrible, couldn't get a group tighter than a foot or more. I told him I thought it was the brass when I saw him after he dropped the video since his results were the same as mine with grouping the Norma "tactical" stuff. I tried multiple rifles with all the same results. terrible. It may be fine for suppressive fire, but I probably will not be that guy.

I haven't reloaded any yet but the sellier and bellot 123 grain soft point is very consistent in my cz527. You might try that brand, as it looks like great brass.

Just saw this. I've had good luck with PPU. But it is a little harder and thicker walled. I've recently been shooting the brass case boxer primed ATS ammo from Macedonia. Right out of the box it's very accurate FMJ and loaded to NATO spec. It's always available at optics planet and I've seen it at low as $10.50/box. It reloads fantastically I'm running HORNADY FMJ's and SST's. Also. Sterling from turkey makes a nickel plated steel case boxer primed round. It reloads well. But you do need to put a little more ummmph in the crimp of the sterling stuff.

I'll see what I can find as far as the ATS. The Belom is really good.

This a 100 yd 4shot group from a scoped sks I have. ATS X39. My galil ace actually drops them on top of each other bullets R 2.18" long. So it's 1.5" from an sks. I reloaded the same brass with Hornady SST's. And secured an even tighter group

It's great ammo and brass
