As far as selling / trading and buying here in Washington it is a huge PITA...and not at all like it used to be .
Price your items fairly...and expect it to take some time in order to conduct a sale or trade.

Don't know how many guns you've got, but you might do better to keep them or trade them with local people. So many times I see guys in the classified section of this and other forums selling their used guns for close to new or higher than new, prices.

Some fool in the classifieds was selling a gun just about a week ago and my LGS could get the same gun new for about a hundred less.

Sure thing, and thanks! I already spent a fair amount of time in pocket knives and buy/sell/trade on reddit knife swap. I recognize that I won't be making money on it...I just know that I can't be hoarding. Don't have the space or the money.

Oh, 100%. I already looked through some postings and it seems to be a mix of people being outrageous with their pricing and others who have stuff that isn't easy to find for a reasonable price. And I've been leaning towards da/sa stuff like cz 75 and already see something I got my eye on that I don't think I'll find at my lgs. Plus, I'm fine with being patient on selling...left a walther pdp on consignment for a couple months before it sold and I didn't mind at all.

Still trying to narrow down what to keep and sell. First gun was CZ 75 PCR, never selling that. Got a few micro 9s to figure out a good conceal carry...43x, 48, shield plus and its carry comp brother. Gotta make a choice and sell one or two of those eventually. Went back on the da/sa train with more cz's and beretta px4 platform... It's gonna be hard to let stuff go!
