Drop Point Elk Hunters

I posted here on NWF about my custom knives a little while back, and I am grateful for the commissions that came from that. I felt I'd share this recent set. A gentleman from Albany reached out looking for a set of knives for he and his lifelong hunting partner. They've been killing elk for decades, and he asked that I build a set with antler from one of their hunts and set the ivories in the butt end. I forged these blades to shape from 1" 52100 round bar and I triple cycle my heat treats to ensure they are nothing shy of tanks. They went home yesterday with a very happy hunter, and I'm excited to get more of these done. I've got another one on deck- supplied stag with an ivory. What are you doing with YOURS?!

Thanks! Those, and other knives are shown and priced on my website with more photos / specs etc. I did give the man a discount for ordering more than one
