Two Scotty #1085 Strong Arm manual Downriggers with 30" booms and rod holders ($244.00 retail each), and two Scotty #1026 swivel bases ($68.00 retail each). Both are loaded with braided line that runs quieter than cable. Price also includes a bunch of different cannon balls/weights (just so you have an idea what these cost, the Cannon 8 pounders retail for about $45.00 apiece).

I have no idea and Scotty's website doesn't list a maximum. I bought these thinking I was going to get into Kokanee fishing, but they've sat in my garage collecting dust. I bought the weights separate from the downriggers.

I sent an email to Scotty customer service, but I'm sure these could handle 15lbs. I don't think there's a more heavy duty downrigger on the market.
