I was in Bend today and stopped at a shop named Deschutes Arms and Munitions. It was one of the best shops I've experienced. Jammed packed full of NFA rifles and accessories on site, on the walls and in some cases, on the floor. A huge inventory and great knowledgeable service. Mostly higher end and mid-range firearms. But they were hardly gun snobs. I enjoyed my time and interaction with them. If you are down that way, they are definitely worth a stop.

This shop wanted to charge me $100 for a private transfer back during Covid.

Nice shop, but I won't ever give them business again.

Glad you had a good experience though.

I think it was 2021 but for sure during Covid. We were in Utah and I was checking out a shop and PMC 5.56 was $25 for a box of 20. While $100 is outrageous for a transfer, they had SBRs, suppressors, a wall full of precision 30 cal rifles and a 50 cal propped against the wall. It's hard to be mad. One guy said most transfers were under a months wait (not that they control it).
