CZ Custom Compact SDP

I have a lightly used CZ custom compact SDP with Heinie sights that I'm looking to trade for a 2011. Not in a rush to get rid of this just testing the waters.

What do you mean testing the waters? CZ customs quality control problems and reputation for over promising and under delivering is documented. You give no information on this pistol so what are you expecting?

Years ago I sent in my two P-01 to CZ Custom and had them do a trigger/action job. Since then have had a few other CZs worked on by CZ Cusyom, and also had them build up a custom SP-01 for me. All are fantastic guns.

Here's the break down of everything directly from their site. As far as CZ custom quality goes, I have never been disappointed with any of the pistols I've bought or had upgraded by them.

:Starting with the lightweight P-01, Angus's crew at the CZ Custom Shop installs a competition hammer modified to work with the decocker, polishes and smooths the firing pin block and tunes the trigger to 3.5-4 lbs. in SA and 8.5-9 lbs. in DA. Riding atop the slide are tritium sights with a Heinie Slant Pro in rear for low drag. Custom interior parts like a solid firing pin stop and trigger pin, extended firing pin and a stainless steel guide rod complete the package.

Thanks for you review, discussing the matter with sales staff, we were waiting for a form of payment for the shipping of the firearm, we did not receive this payment, as was explained in the email the order was cancelled and you full amount was refunded. Sorry for any misunderstanding

Well fortunately for myself that hasn't been the situation when I have dealt with them. Also a "simple" google search can give you whatever review you want whether it's positive or negative.

Did you notice who wrote the review? Did you notice how upset the customer was? Did you notice the lame and confusing response to the review by CZ Customs owner. Too many people that do not work on their own guns promote these custom shops as creating a lot of value for their guns. The attention to detail and execution of fine craftsmanship is simply not happening at many Custom gun shops. As for CZC, they lack good quality control and a thorough final inspection of the firearm before returning it to the customer.

Are you by chance AKA JCVD ? Because I can't imagine many uninvolved persons reading that bunch of utter arse and thinking- "yeah, solid, objective review" or that the real JCVD in any way shape or form had anything to do with that review-

If I'm reading the "lame confusing reply" correctly, they clearly explained, cancelled the order and made a full refund and said "sorry" which is what most would regard as, in response to the clearly unhinged customer, rather good customer service.

This is a great version of the P01, I wish the seller good luck trading it

Are you serious basing your claim on that 1 single review? from JCVD? Lol.

a mod should clean up this BS.

CZs are any outstanding firearm and known for their great Quality control.

You certainly do have a right to your opinion. It's one of many issues with CZ Custom. I thought the viewers may be interested in it since it was "apparently" written by a know person of famous character. CZ handguns are extremely fine handguns. They are my favorite handgun. I am an CZ fan through and through. Apparently you are unaware that CZ Custom is not the manufacturer of CZ pistols. CZ USA has a website where you can catalog your pistols and buy parts… some at a nice discount. https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-d-pcr-compact-2/
CZ also has a European website where you can buy CZ parts not available in the USA. CZ USA has great customer service… they answer their phone and communicate well.
