Colt United States Property marked 1911A1 US Army. Frame dates to 1914. Has 1960s era National Mach Barrel, chambered in 45ACP. Target sights. Has some finish wear but is a very tight pistol. Absolutely no play in between the slide and frame. I was told this was a 1960s Camp Perry match pistol, I don't know much else about the pistol, it's sat in a safe for many years. Asking $1400 or possible trade. Shipping available.

This looks like an excellent value for someone that wants to actually shoot a piece of history. Too much wear for the pretentious collectors to drop $3k on it, making it perfect for people like me that want to own firearms with a history and not feel bad about actually taking them to the range. Sounds like it's in excellent operational condition too.

It's beautiful, and I wish I had the cash to take it off your hands for you.

-E- I'm mostly looking for Remington 700s, lever action short barrel Marlins in pistol calibers, 1895Gs in 450 or 45-70, Winchester 94 trappers, Ruger 10/22 targets, Rossi ranch hand, AK rifles, side by side shotguns, snub nose Colt revolvers, UZI and MP5 stuff, mini 14s, M1 Carbines,30 carbine ammo,. LMT mono pistol uppers.
