Hey everyone this is my first post. Its great to be here and I look forward to engaging with ya'll!
I did a keyword search and came up empty so I thought I'd pose my question and see if anyone can provide me with a definite answer.
I want to obtain my Oregon CHL but am unsure if I am eligible. I have a misdemeanor PCS charge from 2019. The eligibility requirements aren't clear to me. What I find states no convictions within the last four years and no controlled substance convictions as if they are two seperate distinct requirements.
My question is this: Does that mean a person cannot have any controlled substance convictions AT ALL or does it mean just not within the last four years?
I have purchased several guns in the years since my PCS charge (as recently as last week) and pass the background check without any issues every time.
TIA for your responses.
