[Spitpatch]

A deck carriage (for a battleship, etc. or a parapet.). Eye loops for restraining/return to battery ropes. Each of the "stairsteps" on a real carriage is an oak beam unto itself, laminated one upon the other (massive strength).

(the only reason I know this, is that I came across a barrel only, and after researching the barrel style being a deck gun, I built a carriage for it.)
