For sale is my one owner low mile 96A1. The pistol remains in absolutely gorgeous condition with box/sleeve and three 12 round magazines.
A couple of minor upgrades have been made;
- steel trigger
- steel oversized magazine release
- #13 lb. chrome silicon hammer spring
All original bits included.
The 96A1 is not simply modified 92. It was completely redesigned to withstand the increased power of the .40 S&W cartridge. You will note the integral buffer that Beretta built into the frame to absorb slide impact, preventing structural fatigue. Beretta uses this same platform to produce the 92A1 which results in a rather overbuilt 9MM!
This is truly an enjoyable pistol to shoot with an unexpectedly soft recoil impulse.
