In beaverton, looking for recs on where to shoot.

Stopped shooting and sold/stashed my guns at my parents house for the years i was in MA, since the gun laws are ridiculous and it just wasnt worth trying to keep them around.

Any one got recs for where to shoot? i hear clackamas public safety training looks. Anything else a bit closer? Indoor/outdoor?

Welcome, My commiserations on moving to Beaverton and Oregon in general.
Never been to any but Tricounty which is private club but there is Wooster is across from Washington square @ 217, there is one on the Tualatin Sherwood road; Threat dynamics I think and another some where else maybe off hwy 26 Hillsboroish if its still there. All inside though. a little internet search would easily find them.

No, at least about the shooting range itself, not been there, but drive by most days and some cars come and go so parts of-em must be open.
A simple phone call will easily answer that though. Their name is Wooster Armory. Post back if you do, and let folks know whatsup.

@thorborg - gave em a call and their answering machine says the range mgiht be open this summer? Also sounds like they narrowed their store hours, so doesnt sound hopeful.

@SurfinBirdman @thorborg stopped in there over the weekend, range still isn't open.

My understanding from the conversation then and last summer is that structural modifications are needed to support the necessary HVAC filtration, and permitting for that is slow. They're still working on the rest of the construction but it doesn't seem to be at a "full steam ahead" pace

I'm new here as well and also just started shooting again. Wooster's range is still not open, but they are open as a dealer. I've been shooting at Threat Dynamics the last couple of months and love it so far. Nice folks, nice range. At least from my experience.

@MarkAF - my wife did a intro class there and seemed to enjoy it. Just wish there was a closer location
