Magnetic. Trigger guard.

Have not tried it. Like @1775usmc I prefer to keep the weapon on me when in the vehicle, and your risk of negligent discharge increases dramatically when unholstering the weapon and moving it from your on-body holster to your vehicle holster. If I were going to have a dedicated pistol in the vehicle I would mount a regular holster with proper retention inside the center console so the gun isn't visible from outside the vehicle.

I'll wear it. I don't have any exposed metal in my vehicle anyway. Just plastic. I used to carry an Sig p229 in a paddle holster, and sometimes take it off for long trips. Never had to remove the gun. It was Kydex. Quick and easy to get on and off.

Nope. I prefer my gun to be on my person while driving.
Absolutely THIS. ^^^^

I am not a fan of car holsters for a host of reasons...if you need to exit your vehicle quickly, the gun becoming a missile if you get into an accident, the gun being visible if you get pulled over, the gun may become accessible to others in the car, any passengers who see the holster will likely know you're carrying, any thieves who see the holster might decide to break in because there may be guns in the car, etc.
