A couple years ago I just went to our local steel yard and had it done. I bought the plate from them and I think thet charged me $10 to cut it on their plasma table. That was in squares.

I got mine from Coyote Steel in Eugene so you might call around to local to you steel yards. Or I''m sure Bi-Mart and Calbelas will have something.

Did you look around online yet? I got my square 3/8" AR500 plates from Midwest Industries a while back on sale and shipped for stupid cheap.

For 22lr even 1/4" mild steel will work. I doubt it will warp or dent after a million rounds into one same spot
