Yes, they would if you have the proper charge controller for an AGM battery. Some panels come with a controller that is switchable for different batteries.

This is a great deal. I used a 6amp 18volt Ryobi battery to power lights at cabin this weekend. It got down to one bar after third night so switched batteries. One of these would have done the job, if I connected it to a small PV panel with proper charge controller and inverter. Ryobi option is easier for me since I already have batteries on hand.
