Still sorting thru my brother' stuff and came across some
ammo marked 9mm but it isn't 9mm luger.
some is head stamped 9mm K with two stars and MP
Some is head stamped 9mm with two stars and Gevelot
Some is head stamped 9mm with BrC and S&B
all these are about the same size.
Not a lot about 25
There are four slightly larger that are stamped 9mm M

9mm BrC - Browning Corto (corto is Spanish for short) = 9x17 = 380 acp
S&B is Czech
Gevelot is French

9mm M would be 9x18 Makarov

Added: the German word "kurz" is pronounced "kurts" (or korts, sort of - it is German after all). The z makes a tz sound, much like in another infamous German word were the z makes the same sound. Indiana Jones famously hates those guys.
